What's Happening With Art?

From the Mona Lisa to Johnny Depp sketches what is it about Art that makes people happy inside to see. Is it the beauty of capturing, making or designing something. Art is everywhere, right now! Think about it. We have designers everywhere in our clothes, in our television programs I mean come on you think Dot Cotton really wants to wear that all the time! Come on guys and gals! This blog is about where is Art going to take us. 

Can we touch art? 

Can we eat art? 

Can we smell art? 

The picture above surely we can be creative, it's in our brains to have this creative intelligence to see an image and think is it pretty or boring. The picture above I think is pretty but to someone else it could be boring because they find the creativeness not to there taste. 

 Someone here used Lego, it's not just paint, paper and brushes that makes art these days. We have models that portray a message or an image that sticks with us. Art designers have designed the most famous logos, clothing, television costumes and stage costumes but we never really notice them. As we know, Lady Gaga designs her clothing because they are quite absurd, unusual but you remember them. 

Is there room for old art in the future? Off course, it's a historical factor that artists need to know the roots of where it all started. I think there will be a museum in the future just for these famous paintings because where theatres are closing down, art galleries as well they will always have a home in British/French history. 

But what is to say what's art? Art is a expressionism in my opinion. For dancers and actors we express ourselves on the stage/television. So, for artists if they can't get the stage they have a canvas, a wall, a 3D model! Who knows what will happen in the future! Doing art on the computer is that art? Is art classed if it's done by your own two hands or is the clearer message art is art when you have created it because you just want too, not because you have too. 

Photography is a very powerful tool in the media industry. When you see the care products, eye make up, you know the fashion side of the media, all the women look fabulous. But, think of this they wear makeup, they have there hair done, and the photographer has input but I know some models do and don't have in put in how they should look or how they should walk. A picture is worth a 1000 words but only if it's the right message. I saw this advert ages ago, it was for Pepsi and it was an attractive model. It's a fact guys drink more coke, and Gabriel Iglesias jokes about "I really want a coke". Because, the desire and lust is there for a coke now. So, photography may change. Instead of a 2D imagary we see it maybe a 3D image then we can see the whole image for what it actually is. 

Made me laugh! When someone said to me, how can you feel art? Let's go back to Nursery! We finger painted! Just to feel the colour can be art and to express yourselves of how you feel touching art could alone be an art form through a canvas, video or even a book. How you feel when Art touches you. 

Should we be scared of what Art can produce in the future?

NO!, we should embrace anything and everything that artists create. We should feel how the art makes us feel if that's joy, sadness, uncomfortable or even happiness. Then, that goes into what is true happiness! But, consider be open minded and look at what people can create when we explore the idea of Art. Where does it stop? Have we see all that art can do? I don't think so honey! And, that's the bottom line.
