What's The Bottom Line Which Tameside Takeaways Are A Must And An Avoid?

Tameside Takeaways What's A Must And What's An Avoid?

Introduction

This blog is mainly for the people that live in Tameside, or are visiting the area and when you walk in to your home, hotel room, or on the way to somewhere else. Where would you want to eat? But, maybe you're in such a rush you can't afford to go into a restaurant...so alternative then going in a supermarket to buy some sandwiches here are 4 must try takeaways and 4 must avoid like everything on the planet takeaways! I can say that all the following I have tried, and I will give the responses you want to hear too.

What You Should Try?

(1) Simple Chinese in Hyde

This is one of my most favourite Chinese to order for a delivery, they are quick and friendly on the phone. All the food is good to order...how do I know that if am not there? Because, of how it tastes, looks and the fact they use fresh ingredients and not frozen vegetables. Plus, they are quick as a delivery service. The latest I have waited was 40 minutes and that order was huge for three people and you get the odd things free too. Plus, you don't have to repeat your order at all over the phone. The food comes hot as you want it, the food just smells delicious! I would highly recommend if you love your noodles the Singapore vermicelli, done to perfection! This I give a good 10 out of 10, looks can depend on the place. But, this food has always been spot on for me.

(2) Yummy Yummy in Hyde

Hmmm, this is just spot on. The delivery service is quick! Latest ever was like 30 minutes. I would highly recommend the chicken and sweetcorn soup.....why? Because, it looks fresh, it looks and taste like a chinese chicken and sweetcorn soup and they have bits of spring onions....mhmmm just delicious. I have bits and bobs from here because all the food is great. Looking at the place, I would say....really? But, first impressions to me doesn't matter. The food tasted fresh, they use really great flavours so when you have a mouthful of soup, noodles, ribs etc you have a taste of China in your mouth. I give this a 9 out of 10. Only because out of about 100 or more orders only had 1 order wrong. That's a lot of noodles! But, I only remember one order wrong and since that it's all been amazing!

(3) China Kitchen in Hyde

This place is literally like a 5/10 minute walk from my house, but I have actually ordered from there once simply because I was too ill to move and I didn't know about many other places back then. But, they were quick! The people there are always friendly and even patient! I have walked in when there's been like 15 to 20 people it's always busy. But, the food is brilliant. The fish is made to order so you know it's fresh batter. The noodles and soups and all your typical Chinese food are just flavourful and home made flavours. I know the family, they are just lovely to talk to and the food is spot on most of the time. My Singapore Vermicelli is how I like it spicy, full of flavour and not like a washing up liquid noodles which I have had before but not from here. I give this a good solid 8 out of 10 simply because some of the food needs like little touches BUT overall the flavours, the food, the service is there!
(4) Bangla City in Hyde

First glance, you think....that's not a takeaway...But, it is! I have ordered from here before and the food is just mouthwatering goodness! It rocks! I am not that keen on Indian but this place is always spot on for me. The restaurant atmosphere is great, the service waiters are always friendly and you get the same persona on the phone. They are always helpful to the order and it's a good 20 to 40 minutes wait! That's incredible for Indian food. I have to give this a 10 out of 10, my experiences with the Bangla City have always been incredible and quite reasonable priced considering it's not the appearance of your typical Tameside takeaway.

Where You Should Avoid?

This section of the blog is informing you, exactly where you should avoid, it could be the food, the service, the people, it could be anything! But, am going to be honest because at the end of the day you are paying someone to come to your door for a good food at a reasonable price.

(1) Dominoes In Denton

Forget about the food for one minute, I ordered the food at like 6:30...I waited and waited and waited....it's now 8:00 so I thought I ring....Apparently, the system got cleared because of how busy they were. But, I mentioned my number and he repeated back to me my order! NOW, don't get me wrong if the system clear but you have the numbers wouldn't you ring back the customer asap! The guy who turned up to the door, couldn't read how much the food was...we got a discount thou. But, that's the first experience with dominoes where the system was cleared! I just think, I got lost and the guy couldn't be bothered with what I orderd. BUT, I was looking online menu and they couldn't do certain things....so why is it on the menu then?!?! Update the site! THEN, they kept repeating everything and they got the hawiian pizza wrong....THEY PUT MUSHROOMS on it! I didn't ask for Mushrooms. But, there you go. My pizza was nice. That's the thing, I was annoyed at the service that I just ate the food and semi-enjoyed it because of how badly they dealt with me. The food is the only thing to rate, I have never waited nearly 2 hours for a pizza! So, on that note I would give this overall about a 4 out of 10. Avoid Dominoes Denton like the plague, it's not worth the wait. Go to Morrisons, ASDA and get a pizza it's so easier and by the time you eaten it...your order is seemingly vanished into a black hole!

(2) Golden Dragon in Denton

I orderd from here, about a year ago. The Chinese was absolutely vile! It was frozen veg, the grease coming off the food could fill about 10 cups and then a jug and THEN a bucket! I dunno about the Golden Dragon they have to pour everything with there sauce. Everything tasted the same, so you know they don't change the oil, they don't use separate pans. It was just horrible. The service was quickish but I think that's coz they don't really cook it. I had some uncooked beef, chicken AND even prawns! It was horrible. I would never recommend this place to anyone I give it a 1 out of 10. And, that's just because my food turned up.
(3) Chicken Hut in Hyde

From a dear friend of mine Natalie Doyle, who's actually helped me writing this blog. Told me, that her friend found a dead mouse at the bottom of her milkshake.....WAIT WHAT! A dead mouse at the bottom of her milkshake......That even fresh? Wait, THAT EVEN LEGAL! I have ordered from here once. The chicken was just bland, dry and some even RAW! I am not even joking, you stab your fork or teeth into the chicken I swear you can hear it cluck like a chicken from how alive it could of been! The greasiness was so unreal my mouth felt like it was the BBQ grill from all the meat just slapped on there! I wouldn't even rate the Chicken Hut I give it nothing! I would highly recommend it to be off the streets!

(4) Ping On in

Now, Ping On the people sounded slightly angry at me because I was from Hyde...sorry for where I live! The food greasy and my noodles were very over cooked. It had minor mistakes that could of been prevented I felt. But, I did order from here like 4 years ago! So, it might of changed. But, overall it did have some flavour to it so that in mind I simply give this a 4 out of 10. Needed more attention to the food and the service.

What's The Bottom Line?

You know what, if you wnat a good Chinese Hyde do some quite good stuff. Whilst, Denton well it's Denton I have never tried anything else from there because of how bad the service is. But, the bottom line is try at least anywhere once and make your decision. You could find Dominoes better for you than me, but I had a bad experience from the Denton. So, the bottom line is basically prefence depends how you like your food done, I like it done to a certain standard but always try new things and that's the bottom line.
