What's The Bottom Line presents The Top 11 Most Anticipated Games of 2015

The Top 11 Most Anticipated Games of 2015

Introduction

I have had a look and done some research into what the public are anticipating the most this year to get gamers losing sanity and patience of the newest games to be expected. From Fable Legends to the newest Batman Arkham Knight. This blog will be looking at 11 top anticipating games this year! And, we here hope you enjoy what is yet to come.

Halo 5: Guardians

Halo fans are happy this year, as last year we had the Halo Collection, you could of got all the old and latest Halo games to play on your newest game console. But, this is completely new Halo 5: Guardians, the plot is peace is shattered when colony worlds are unexpectedly attacked. But when humanity’s greatest hero goes missing, a new Spartan is tasked with hunting the Master Chief and solving a mystery that threatens the entire galaxy. But, what will the players expect? Well, old and new enemies off course and maybe some new kind of weapons which we have to play to find out. Off course, it's multiplayer and probably have the same ranking system. But, I don't know anymore I don't want to spoil it for everyone but we will be expecting a first shooter experience we want to crave and enjoy.

Fable Legends

If you enjoyed the Fable games and our fans of the franchise you'll be wanting this game in 2015. Rediscover The Magic of Fable and return to Albion adventurer.  This is a single player game or play cooperatively with up to three friends! And, the fact that many others will agree, Fable Legends offers a way to play the good or bad guy but this time you can play purely the bad guy which has never been done in the Fable games. Plus, for XBOX One players you can use your SmartGlass app on your tablet or smartphone which you can track your game progress, get more information on Heroes, quests and other content....maybe even your income from stores.  Return to Albion, a picturesque land full of thrilling stories, exciting combat, and high adventure. It’s no surprise that millions of players have visited and adored the welcoming countryside of this once upon a time storyland. “Fable Legends” brings you to a place where history, myth, and folklore are practically the same thing. Of course you’ll also find monsters, villains, and even the occasional disaster, but you shouldn’t take it too seriously. Albion is a unique fantasy land where epic, tragic, and comedic stories all combine for a one of a kind experience. AND, this is a FREE ROAM game! Which let's be honest most gamers love to have control of what happens in a game.

Battlefield Hardline

Live out your cop and criminal fantasy in Battlefield Hardline. This action-packed blockbuster combines intense signature multiplayer moments of Battlefield franchise with an emotionally charged story and setting reminiscent of a modern television crime drama.
In a visceral single-player campaign you'll play the role of Nick Mendoza, a young detective who embarks on a cross-country vendetta seeking revenge against once trusted partners on the force.
In multiplayer you'll hunt criminals, raid vaults, and save hostages in new cop and criminal-inspired modes like Heist and Rescue. Welcome to your new playground. So, to us at That's The Bottom Line none of us have played the Battlefield Hardline but it sounds more like Grand Theft Auto meets Call of Duty. This game could be one of the most brilliantly made storyline and action packed shooting to see with some intelligence thrown in there OR it could be utterly rubbish. The weapons looks astonishing and realistic, it appears military and fictionally inspired gizmos and gadgets. AND, again it appears to be a free roam game aswell as you fly across the map in fast, fresh and intense vehicle gameplay with the mayhem of what a game should feel like.

The Elder Scrolls Online

If you don't know much about The Elder Scrolls Online it's suppose to be a massive multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG) set in Tamriel, the ancient land that includes the provinces of Morrowind, Daggerfall, and off course Skyrim. The game is suppose to take place 1,000 years before the events of Skyrim.....interested? Well, this epic story will take a long time like most of the Elder Scroll games. It's open world again, but off course we are looking forward to the treasures, gold and weapons we will be having to destroy our foes.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege

I don't like this game that much, however I won't be biased to what the people are looking forward to. This game is inspired by counter-terrorist operatives across the world, Rainbow Six: Siege invites players to master the art of destruction! Lovely! Intense close-quarters confrontations, tactics and explosive action are at the centre of experience. What's new thou? Well, the sieges have a new style of assault in which your enemies can transform their environments into strongholds to prevent breaches and everything in your environment reacts with a realistic feel and dynamic dimensions.

Rise of the Tomb Raider

As we know in her first adventure, Lara Croft was forged into a true survivor, but she glimpsed a deeper, secret world. In the next chapter of her journey, Lara must use her survival skills and wits, learn to trust new friends, and ultimately accept her destiny as the Tomb Raider. Rise of the Tomb Raider builds upon the formula that made Tomb Raider , and features the return of Camilla Luddington as Lara Croft. Luddington will take character performance to new heights as Lara pushes herself beyond human limits and is confronted with what it means to become a hero. Once again, Crystal Dynamics is proud to have the award-winning author Rhianna Pratchett as a key member of the writing team, helping craft a story that delves into Lara's inner turmoil and motivations in this critical second act of her journey. My only reason am not looking forward to this game is the basics of puzzles, however this sounds more stealth then detective to me. But, we will have to wait and see.... However, one thing for sure 2015 might be the year for the Tomb Raiders.

Tom Clancy's The Division

Apparently lots of gamers are looking forward to the Tom Clancy's games. The Division is a classified unit of self-supported tactical agents, leading seemingly ordinary lives among us. Division agents are trained to operate independently in order to save society as we know it. When society falls....the mission begins. Sounds like Agents of Shield to me! Anyway, this is an online, open world, action RPG which is located in New York City. I haven't played a Tom Clancy game for about several years but I am looking forward to this game, not because it's open roam, but because it looks stunning and could be one of the best games out there this year.

Quantum Break

Developed exclusively for XBOX One (Sorry PS4 Players) , Quantum Break blurs the line between television and gameplay, integrating the two into one seamless, uniquely immersive experience. From Remedy Entertainment, the critically acclaimed creators of Alan Wake (which I didn't play BUT had great reviews) and Max Payne (again didn't play but knew some up and downs with the game, comes a revolutionary entertainment experience that weaves the cinematic action of intense gameplay with the tension and drama of scripted television, creating a world where each has a direct impact on the other. In Quantum Break, our desperate hero fights a highly personal battle to save the future before time literally runs out. As time breaks down, impossible, split-second moments of destruction turn into epic stages of time-powered action. The actions you take, and the choices you make, shape your experience as the narrative unfolds. As you play, a personalised 'director's cut' of the show is created just for you, based on the decisions you make during the game. Sounds interesting, sounds new and off course a great way to see the new year.

Star Wars Battlefront

Gamer fans who played this game in the 90s/2000s understand what coming this year will either be EPIC or utter rubbish. There is actually no information at all on this game, only a few pictures but nothing physically about the game. As we know from past games, it's a first person shooter, it's similar to Call of Duty, Gears of War and even Halo. But, considering we haven't had a Star Wars Battlefront game in sooo long! We could see all of those games combining to have such a brilliant game. In Star Wars Battlefront 2 you could've been a Jedi! And, you had missions to complete and etc; I can see they are going to do something similar to Star Wars Battlefront 2 because it was huge! But, I feel graphics and detail will be the level of stunning and powerful considering what game systems we have now. But, that's all I can say on the game because that's all there is so far!

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

In all honesty, That's The Bottom Line hasn't played any of the Witcher's games but what I will be telling you now I will get this game, the day it comes out. The Witcher 3: Wild Huny is a open world role-playing game, already am there that's my kind of game. Your character is Geralt of Rivia (sounds something like Lord of the Rings), you area monster hunter and you embark on a epic journey in a world that will inevitably lead you to confront a foe darker than anything you have faced.
Evolve unique witcher skills to tailor gameplay to your liking; hunt bloodthirsty monsters and develop your signature fighting strategies; use potent battle magic; and slay your way to victory in a truly limitless open world. Stroll, swim, ride, and sail; embark on legendary quests and collect epic bounties. Take control: go anywhere, do anything! That's why am buying this game, the fact of magical abilities, you can go anywhere anything and control Geralt how you see fit. But, since I haven't played this game and it's not giving much to go on, will I get bored? I have played Shadows of Mordor which is open world and after all the missions after about a week I got bored of the game.....Grand Theft Auto different because you have different missions, characters and you earn money to buy places just generally relax or be intense with the game as you like. So, wait and see I am looking forward to it.

Batman: Arkham Knight

Sorry to say this.... but save the best to last! The Batman games City and Asylum I enjoy! Batman games got it spot on I feel. The open world experience, the characters you encounter that people will either know or don't know. Then, on top of that! You have the Batcave, gadgets, fighting style and the darkness that makes you believe it's not the 80s Batman TV Show but more the Batman we see from Christopher Bale era but much more darker. But, what does Arkham Knight promise us that the others don't? Why not, you can drive the Batmobile now! For me that's EPIC! I've always wanted to drive the Batmobile in the games, the only game that did was the Batman and Robin game. For the first time in the series, explore the entirety of Gotham City in a completely open and free-roaming game world, now this could be gliding around or in fact driving around. Off course, they have added more combat moves and high-tech gadgets but more than before. This includes....ready for this? Gadgets while gliding ability! Batarang someone while gliding yes please! But, as you know in Gotham City from past games, there will be chaos in the streets randomly, taking down villains or pursing the main story line. Which villains do we expect? Well, so far that has been announced are Harley Quinn, The Penguin, Two-Face, and the Riddler. But, the side missions usually have The Mad Hatter, Calendar Man etc all the lower villains that we wouldn't recognize as a main villain.

What's The Bottom Line?

So, what's the bottom line? Well, 2015 is truly a great year for gamers. We haven't seen any Gears of War, COD or Grand Theft Auto but these 11 games are the most anticipated from research and magazines. And, to be honest That's The Bottom Line loves all the games we have mentioned today. However, we will have to wait and see if these games will deliver on our expectations and that's the bottom line.
